I believe that teachers should use technology in their classes. We've only had one class but already I'm learning to do so many different things that would have been so helpful through my out my middle school and high school career. I hadn't thought of this but the slideshow pointed out the teachers will not be replaced by technology, which I completely agree with. But by using technology, it does allow students to be more educated and be able to help themselves suceed that much more in life. I'm really excited for tech 221 class and I'm excited to learn more.
Nice presentation and absolutely on target. Teaching today means that we are preparing students for the futures they face as life long learners. Technology has made new information exponential in growth, we can't possibly keep our kids up with it through memorization. They have to learn how to discern good from bad information, be able to think critically and problem solve, how to filter. We need to grow up learners!
